A Review We Appreciate
The Pub is one of my favorite discoveries when I moved to the area. Why? Because it's such a great find. It's a bit hidden though coz you have to go inside the base first, present your photo ID, and then you can finally drive to the restaurant. While the place may not be the trendiest, The Pub makes up for it in good service, quality food, and reasonable prices.
I've been here a few times...mainly to get takeout and my experience has always been positive. For this specific review, we ordered the commander's club (turkey bacon lettuce tomato on sourdough) and loaded fries with steak and bacon.
The bacon and steak are plentiful on the fries; this dish is deliciously sinful. The sandwich was too huge for me! It was cut into 4 pieces with each having 3 layers of bread plus the turkey BLT. I forgot to say unbuttered toast so I found it a bit too greasy for my liking. However this was on me, not them.
The Pub is generous with its portion sizes; hubby and I were both stuffed after eating. I give The Pub five stars all the way...
Cheap food and alcohol = check
